This client work involved a distinct brand identity for TapIt®, with a logo and comprehensive brand guidelines that would capture the company's innovative spirit and commitment to sustainability. This identity needed to differentiate TapIt® in a competitive market where digital business cards are becoming more prevalent.

TapIt® is charting a new course in the business networking field with their digital smart card. This product allows professionals to share their contact information quickly and efficiently, aligning with a growing demand for sustainable and tech-savvy solutions.

Ideation

This phase involved sketching three distinct logo variations aligned with the client's direction of Sustainability and innovation. The designs captured the brand's essence by emphasizing a minimalist, green-oriented color scheme. Below are the three variations presented to the client.

Logo Development

I fine-tuned the selected design, adjusting the color palette to reflect better the brand's commitment to an eco-friendly, green-oriented approach. Below, I detail the creative rationale behind this logo.

TapIt Logo Anatomy
The Concept

The logo's concept was inspired by the principle of Minimalistic and easy share. The final design—a fusion of two mobile devices and a two-way arrow— conveys the essence of TapIt®’s "tap-and-share" technology into a sleek, modern icon that captures the brand's commitment. The green colors that I have chosen brought the ecofriendly green oriented theme of the brand

Typography

The typeface for TapIt®’s wordmark, 'Avenir Bold', was chosen for its clean and futuristic look, mirroring the product’s modernity. It ensures that the brand name is immediately noticeable and easy to remember.

Brand Guidelines

The branding guidelines set the standard for how the logo and brand elements should be used. This includes the placement and sizing of the logo, the color specifications, and the application of the typeface to maintain a consistent brand image across all platforms.

Deliverables

The completed project delivered a suite of branding materials that TapIt® now uses as the foundation of their visual identity. The client now has a distinctive logo, clear brand guidelines, and versatile applications for their marketing materials, which together position them strongly in the digital networking space.
